Every individual human being has a (sub)conscious notion of the socially accepted, of what is normal behavior or what they find tolerabele imagery. Is this notion individual by nature, or are we all a part of a far-reaching historically and physically based construct of do's and don'ts?
Using the medium heavily associated with the common way of communicating "the normal", photography, I question these fine lines. To find out in which realm the nuances lie, where the breaking point is between the socially required open mindedness towards the unknown and the survival strategy of knowing. Nurture/nature
What is (y)our tipping point?
